The assistant fills in what PicaPool needs — where, when, what level you play at — and shows you the full message. Nothing is sent until you press send.

PicaPool looks for someone nearby

The search runs and the answer arrives on WhatsApp. If nobody near you wants this right now, it says so — and keeps looking for a couple of days.

How do I connect PicaPool to ChatGPT?+
Press “Open in ChatGPT” above. It opens a new chat already loaded with the instructions, and you just say what you are looking for. To have ChatGPT offer PicaPool on its own in future chats, install the skill with npx skills add picapool-tech/ask-picapool.
Does PicaPool work with Claude?+
Yes. Press “Open in Claude” above, or run /plugin marketplace add picapool-tech/ask-picapool in Claude Code. On claude.ai you can upload the skill folder under Settings → Capabilities → Skills.
Is there a PicaPool MCP server?+
Not yet. PicaPool currently works as a skill — a set of instructions your assistant follows, with no server in between. Your assistant never connects to PicaPool directly; it writes a WhatsApp message and you send it. An MCP connector that lets assistants search PicaPool directly is planned.
Do I need the PicaPool app?+
No. Everything happens over WhatsApp. If you already use the app, PicaPool recognises you by the same phone number.
What can I ask PicaPool to find?+
Anyone nearby who wants the same thing you do — a partner for badminton, cricket, tennis or the gym, a flatmate or a room, someone to share a cab or a trip, or people to split a bulk order with. It matches inside a radius, so it works best for things that happen in person.
Is it free?+
Yes. The skill is open source under the MIT licence, and asking PicaPool to look for someone costs nothing.
What does PicaPool see from my chat?+
Only the one message you send. Your assistant shows you the full text first, and nothing else from the conversation reaches PicaPool.

What gets shared

  • One message, and you write it. Your assistant shows you the full text before anything happens. Nothing else from your conversation reaches PicaPool.
  • No contact details are handed out. Not yours, not anybody's. If there is a match, both people opt in before an introduction happens.
  • Nearby means nearby. PicaPool matches inside a radius. “Nobody near you” is a real answer, and you will get it rather than a stretch.
